COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Skylotec ACX device can be used to lift loads up to 200 kg. This offers a solution for users who need a lightweight and portable device for use in the field. This one day course is designed to train the user to set up and safely operate a lift system using the Skylotec ACX device.

Duration: 1 day / 7 hours
TRAINING LOCATIONS
In house: the training can take place in different Skylotec certified training centers globally. Two locations are present in Italy:
- via Torchio, 9 / 24034 Cisano Bergamasco (BG);
- via Garibaldi, 20 / 36034 Malo (VI).
Onsite: The training can also be also delivered directly at customer´s facilities globally.
TARGET GROUP
People requiring training to lift loads using the Skylotec ACX device in different fields: wind energy, construction sector, geotechnics, inspection services, etc.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
- Have a basic certificate for working at height.
- Level 1 rope access operator qualification or higher is acceptable in place of the above certification.
- Be medically fit, able to participate fully and able to sign a confirmation medical statement.
LEARNING CONTENT
Participants will be able to explain and demonstrate the following:
- checking the Skylotec ACX device before use;
- checking the hoisting rope before use;
- how to tie a figure eight knot and a stopper knot;
- risk assessment;
- acquiring knowledge of local hoisting regulations;
- securing the work area and rope management;
- selection of anchor points;
- upper suspension of the ACX device;
- lower suspension of the ACX device;
- lifting procedure with the ACX device.
CERTIFICATE AND VALIDITY PERIOD
- Every participant that has successfully completed the course will be given a certificate.
- The certificate is valid for 2 years.
- Biennial Re-Assessment is necessary.
- The certificate will be issued after the training.
