COURSE DESCRIPTION
Basic course for access in confined spaces (Level 1). Intended for companies and PPE users who need to access and/or operate in confined spaces.

Number of participants: max 8 people
Duration: 1 day.
TRAINING LOCATIONS
In house: the training can take place in different Skylotec certified training centers globally. Two locations are present in Italy:
- via Torchio, 9 / 24034 Cisano Bergamasco (BG);
- via Garibaldi, 20 / 36034 Malo (VI).
Onsite: The training can also be also delivered directly at customer´s facilities globally.
TARGET GROUP
Companies and PPE users who need to access and/or operate in confined spaces.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have an acceptable level of physical and menthal fitness (e.g. not claustrophobic).
- Not to be disabled or have health issues that can prevent from working safely.
- Do not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Be in possession of a medical certificate of physical fitness/sign a self-certification statement of physical fitness at the beginning of the course.
- Having attended and passed the “Correct use of PPE against falls” course.
- It is advisable to have a valid certificate of participation in the First Aid course.
LEARNING CONTENT
Theoretical part:
- laws and regulations;
- site preparation (preventive risk analysis);
- preparation of EN 795-B temporary anchor devices;
risks related to the presence of gas.
Practical part:
- Dressing and buddy check;
- Use of EN 795-B portable temporary anchor devices (assembly and use);
- Use of PPE (gas detectors, tripods, winches, cranes);
- Methods of access in confined spaces;
- Rescue maneuvers: recovery and rescue of an injured person on a tripod.
CERTIFICATE AND VALIDITY PERIOD
- Every participant that has successfully completed the course will be given a certificate.
- The certificate is valid for 3 years.
- The certificate will be issued after the training.
